Our Clinic

The Centre started its activities in January 1995 as one of the first non-government centre of assisted reproduction in the Czech Republic. Due to the high success rate throughout its existence, the centre ranks among the top facilities in the whole world. In our clinical centre we have three operating rooms - one for each specialty. The advantage of this arrangement is quick access to not only our sterile instruments and techniques, but also our professionally trained staff. Ward has 29 beds in 12 standard rooms and 3 beds in intensive care unit. Our clinic provides full postoperative care and places emphasis that one doctor is assigned to one patient throughout the whole treatment process.

The Centre is led by the Head Physician MUDr. Milan Mrazek, Ph.D. The IVF team, including the IVF laboratory workers, has been trained by the top world specialists. Thus, all the physicians working within the IVF program have the highest possible specialist qualifications, together with a number of specialized trainings and study visits abroad. The IVF Centre provides a whole range of curative procedures, such as ICSI, genetics, pre-implant diagnosing (PGD, PGS), cryo-conserving, vitrification etc. The Centre of Assisted Reproduction achieves its successes using many time-tested treatment methods..

Our Doctors

Dr. Milan Mrazek, Ph.D. – Head of Department

Born in 1955, Dr. Milan Mrazek graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Charles University in Prague. In beginning of his career he worked as a gynaecologist in Institute for the Care of Mother and Child in Prague. Milan joined Department of Gynaecology-Obstetrics as a professor in Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and in 1996 signed a contract in ISCARE IVF, firstly as a gynaecologist and after three years as a head doctor. During his career Dr.Milan Mrazek enjoyed internship in Tokyo with a focus on prenatal diagnosis and vitro fertilization and embryotransfer.

He is member of Czech Medical chamber, European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology and Committee of National Representatives of ESHRE. Milan is married and speaks fluent English.
