Our Clinic

MEDICAL TRAVEL is proud to offer you ISCARE I.V.F. clinic. It is non-government facility that has been in the Czech Republic since 1994, joined Iscare Group in 2009. Our clinic offers all-round approach to treat obesity utilizing all the methods available thanks to medical science. The method of treatment is chosen after discussion with patient and first examination at our clinic. We always explain the advantages and details of all individual ways of treatment.

In our clinical centre we have three operating rooms - one for each specialty. The advantage of this arrangement is not only quick access to sterile instruments and techniques, but also professionally trained staff. The rooms maintain cleanliness and our doctors use disposable draping. Ward has 29 beds in 12 standard rooms and 3 beds in intensive care unit. Our clinic provides full postoperative care and places emphasis that one doctor is assigned to one patient throughout the whole treatment process.

Our Doctors

Dr. Ladislav Svoboda – Head of Department

Born in 1959, Dr. Ladislav Svoboda graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Charles University in Prague in 1985. In beginning of his career he started as a surgeon in Medical Institute Na Plesi where he successfully finished medical attestation. In 1995 he became Head of surgical department in Medical Institute Na Plesi. Ladislav enjoyed this function for 12 years. In 2007 Ladislav became Head of Centre of Obesity treatment in Prague, in Iscare. He is member of Czech Medical chamber from its early foundation and Czech chirurgical society. Ladislav is a holder of many licences and certificates, for example certificate for arthroscopy or implementation of laparoscopic procedures. Dr. Ladislav Svoboda is married and speaks fluent English and Russian.
