Scarcely is our age more clearly evident anywhere than in the area of our eyes—specifically, the upper and lower eyelids. The skin in this area of the face is especially thin and fragile and, accordingly, tends to show wear-and-tear more readily. The good news is blepharoplasty—i.e., plastic surgery of the eyelid—has the power to right many wrongs and to, effectively, turn back the clock by several degrees. The procedure involves the removal or rearrangement of superfluous tissues, redistribution of fat, and underpinning of tendon and muscle in the area to create a firmer and more youthful eye region. If this is what you’re after, we cooperate with some of the best plastic surgeons in the Czech Republic who can accomplish the job nicely. Read on to learn more.

After initial contact via phone or email, we will ask you to provide us with photos of the areas which you would like to enhance, with a brief description of what your goals are for the procedure. This is only used to ensure the best evaluation for your personal needs, and all information sent to us will be held in strict confidence. Of course you are under no obligation at this stage, and the evaluation is completely free of charge.
Next, we will ask you to fill in our questionnaire, as we need to be confident that there are no existing medical conditions which could affect you undergoing the procedure. Please fill in as much information as possible, and we will get back to you with an evaluation of your questionnaire by one of our doctors.
Once an agreement has been made for the proposed dates, prices, and surgeon who will perform the procedure, the next step will be to pay the deposit to the clinic account. The deposit is a 100% booking guarantee of your date. If you do not show up for the surgery without providing us with a reason, we cannot return the deposit back. Of course in the event that you are ill or if an emergency prevents you from keeping your date and you are able to notify us in a timely manner, we are able to find new dates for you and use this deposit to secure a new date.
The outstanding balance must be paid on the day of the surgery (we accept cash, credit cards, or a direct bank transfer into clinic account).
Eyelids surgery (also called Blepharoplasty) is the perfect solution for men and women who have lose elasticity and excessive skin deposits giving them a tired look. The surgical removal of excess skin is not only suitable for aesthetic reasons, but mainly for functional reasons. Upper and lower eyelid surgery can be performed separately or both together under local anaesthesia, analgosedation or general anaesthesia. Procedure takes between 1 and 2 hours. The resulting scar in the upper eyelid is situated in the location of the natural crease and with lower eyelids; the scar is situated just below the eyelashes.
Transconjunctival Blepharoplasty
Transconjuctival eyelids surgery is a surgical technique where the incision is made on the inside for accessing the fat, leaving the muscle and septum intact. This approach allows easy and safe access to the fat on lower eyelids that can be either removed or repositioned over the cheek bone. It reduces the risk of the eyelid pulling down, and another benefit is the absence of an external incision.
Over the first 24 hours, the patient places cold gel or ice on the covering that is applied and remains relaxed. Patient has normal sight as the eyes are not affected. The patient goes home immediately after a short stay at the clinic but driving a vehicle is forbidden. One day after eyelids surgery we recommend sleeping in semi-sitting position. Office work can carry out as early as of three days after the surgery. The stitches are removed on the 7th day after the surgery or they are self-absorbent. Cosmetics may be applied 2-3 weeks after the surgery and sport activities are not recommended until 2 weeks after the surgery.
