PROCEDURE

Nose surgery is suitable for people who would like to improve the shape or size of the nose. Main focus of rhinoplasty how is this surgery called is to bring you back confidence or from medical point of view it can improve your breathing. This procedure is available to clients over 18 years of age, is carried out under general anaesthesia and takes approximately 2 – 3 hours to complete, during hospitalisation lasting 1 – 2 days. In case only the reshaping of the tip of the nose is concerned, the surgery can be carried out under local anaesthesia, with no hospitalisation required. No scars are visible after the surgery as it is done through nostrils.

Post Procedure Care

After the surgery, a plaster and nasal packing is applied in the nostrils, which is removed in two days. Patients are using mouth for breathing in the meantime. After the plaster is removed, in case of nose surgery it is 14 days, the patient starts applying pressure massages by few times a day for a period of one month. The massages prevent the creation of scars, and they relieve the skin. A state of rest is recommended for a period of one week after the surgery. The patient can carry out office work one week after the surgery and sports activities should be avoided for period of 3 weeks.
