From the moment I contacted Medical Travel Czech Republic I felt I was in safe hands. The client representative was warm, friendly and very helpful, always quick to reply to my queries. Upon arrival, I was picked up from the airport with a taxi booked by my client representative. Even though my flight was severely delayed, Medical Travel did their best to accommodate this, and it all worked out, thanks to their flexibility. 

Arriving at the surgery I had a very thorough complete health check with a very pleasant doctor. The surgeon is a well known plastic surgeon with excellent reviews from previous clients. I had complete faith in him when booking my treatment (upper and lower blepharoplasty and cheek lipo). After seeing the surgeon for a consultation after my health check, he explained what the best result would be for optimal results and symmetry. He explained how he saw my face from an experienced plastic surgeons perspective, and made sure I understood everything about the procedure beforehand. He also told me about aftercare. As a result of the consultation we decided to go for just the upper and lower blepharoplasty, something I am very glad we did! 

The procedure was done with local anesthesia, and I was constantly reassured by the surgeon and his lovely assistant. I bled a lot, so I was made to stay at the clinic for a couple of hours afterwards. I was taken into a dimly lit room and put into a comfortable bed with ice packs on my eyes.The clinic provided me with an aftercare kit with liquid tape, eye drops, an eye mask and painkillers. I experienced no pain afterwards (the most painful thing is the anesthesia!), and did not have to take any painkillers. 

After a couple of days I came in for a check-up and was examined by the same surgeon again. Everything looked good, and I was able to travel home the same day. 

The healing process has been surprisingly fast. I removed my stitches after a week, and after that I looked pretty normal, and people weren't able to tell until they were up close. Now, more than 3 weeks afterwards, the scars are thick and raised which is normal. After 6 weeks they should start to go down and fade. I still have a bit of swelling, but no more than I expected. 

Overall, my experience with Medical Travel Czech Republic has been nothing less than excellent. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone seeking plastic surgery. 

From the begining, Janina (You ) took each and every effort to reply my all inquiries. Sometimes, I asked you the same question twice or thrice , in order to make 100 % sure.And eachtime, I got a very detailed and point to point reply. You also helped me out in giving me out local informations about the City, Hotels and Transportation. Overall, the provided service was excellent. We have had a very positive experience with Richard at Medical Travel and Gynem clinic.  Richard was very helpful with our initial queries on Gynem as a clinic and did not come across as pushy.  He provided the right level of information to us which was very helpful.

The medications were sent to me quickly through the post.  We were happy with the cost of the treatment and this is part of the reason that we decided to have treatment in Prague. We were always able to get hold of him and he responded to our e-mails in a timely fashion. 

In terms of the clinic – we were very pleased with the process, the clinic was very clean and everyone that we met with were very helpful and professional and caring. Richard spent a lot of time with me when I attended the clinic for the transfer and put me at ease.  He also talked through in detail the medications that I would need to take. We have had a positive result from the process and hope that that continues.

The only thing I would say and this is more aimed at Gynem than Medical Travel – is that 4 of our donors dropped out during the process.  They were all for very different reasons and I understand that much of that was out of the clinics control – however it did cause a lot of stress for us and it made me wonder how rigorous Gynem were in the screening process to ensure that the donors were (a) committed and (b) contacted regularly to ensure that they still wanted to be donors.

That said – Richard was very good at keeping us updated and went out of his way to ensure we had replacement donors and obviously this has worked out well for us in the end.

My experience was great from Start to finish. The taxi transfers were straight forward with no problems. The clinic was great staff were excellent and helpful. Dr Benes is a great surgeon that is realistic and doesn't make promises he can't keep or do would recommend him 100%. I am looking to come back in 6 months time for more surgery. Thank you for everything such a big help from Start to finish with you guys.

At 37 years old I had one failed attempt of IVF in Edinburgh & two miscarriages from natural conception. From this process I was informed I had low AMH and my best chance of falling pregnant would be to use a donor egg. However as I already have a daughter I was not eligible to join the UK waiting list for a donor & could only have the treatment here if I knew someone willing to donate their eggs. I thought I'd run out of options. Unknown to me at the time my cousin & his fiancé who had had 6 miscarriages had researched all the fertility clinics in Europe & had attended Gynem & were 5 months pregnant with twins using an egg donor when they visited me just after my miscarriage. They spoke so highly of Jana, the clinic & the process that I reached out & emailed Jana to discuss options.

I forwarded my paperwork from here & refreshed some of my tests & after a Skype consultation with Dr Mrazek, Jana sent me donor options to choose from and medications to take. I had to google translate some of the mediations as they were received in Czech but this was a small thing. Jana was so very reassuring & answered all my questions so promptly. I was worried about booking flights so last minute but Jana booked my airport transfers & it all worked out perfectly.

When attending the clinic I found it to be everything my cousins described, new, fresh, welcoming. The staff were lovely & had great English. The embryologist was very informative. The transfer was quick & again the staff seemed caring & helpful.

I am now 9 weeks pregnant & cannot wait to meet this little baby who is making me so reassuringly sick! If something happens and we do not reach 9 months, the embryologists at Gynem have 6 frozen embryos for me to try again (I had no frozen options from the UK).

Comparing the process, drugs used & success rates (& actually cost) I would recommend any couple seeking fertility treatment to come to Gynem rather than the UK. I had asked my UK fertility clinic about using immunosuppressants & they had said no. In the UK I was never offered embryo glue....I used this in Prague & feel this has helped. Gynem seem to have a much more sophisticated process & the success rates were proof enough for me. Already my best friend is hoping to visit Gynem this year to pursue her dream baby.

We were very happy with the service we received from the clinic but more so our co coordinator Hana. From the first Skype consultation to arriving in Prague, Hana was available at all hours to answer any queries and give us information via email and telephone. We had trouble with getting drugs in the UK and Hana was on hand to quickly and efficiently send drugs and prescriptions to us. We found the whole process was easy and not stressful at all..which I wasn't expecting. The collection from the airport and to the clinic was amazing as it took stress out of the travelling and when we were already apprehensive we found it to be a brilliant service. Hana was at the clinic each time we were there and explained further what would happen and translate anything that was required, which she then followed up with emails to make sure we understood all instructions clearly. The clinic was clean and modern, the treatment we received from everyone was good. The only downside we found was due to egg collection on Saturday - the clinic is closed on Sunday so no update and was well into Monday afternoon before we had any update on fertilisation. It would have limited the anxiety if we had of been contacted earlier on the Monday morning but other than this I have no criticism. Fingers crossed we won't have to go through Ivf again but if we do I will definitely use this company and clinic again in the future. Thanks for all your help.

Hope you are well. Just a quick message to update you on our new addition who arrived on 31st July 2018 following our Icsi treatment with Gynem in Nov 2017. We would like to thank you again for all your help while we were in Prague and with the treatment from the clinic. It has made our dream of a family come true!

Hana, thank you for everything, you been a great coordinator through all this process and we appreciate all your help , so now we just have to pray that we get a positive result from our transfer, I will let you know when we test, take care.

I was very happy with the service. I liked the pickup from the airport and you were waiting for us at the clinic. The facilities were very clean and modern and I was very happy with my surgeon who spoke excellent English and was very caring throughout the procedure. I enjoyed spending a few days in Prague and would visit again. I would definitely recommend your services to anyone that is considering surgery.
